The Effects of the New Google Panda

The Google Panda Project was designed to put more worth sites ahead of less worthy sites. The Panda project would allow well optimized sites with proper back links to take first place search engine rankings and drop the rest of the lesser known websites. The main creation of the new Google Panda was to create a new algorithium directed at all of the less worthy content farms and duplicate websites. In other words the new Google Panda algorithium will weed out the websites, blogs, articles and other types of content who have duplicate content, not enough content, low quality content, not enough back links to the site and the overall quality of the site. The positive note about the Google Panda Project is that it helps to maintain better quality website content, article content and blog content. With the new Google Panda algorithium, the Google search engine will base a website, article or blogs search engine page ranking by the overall quality of the site. The overall quality includes proper keyword optimization, no duplicate content, no copy and paste, no low quality content and back link quality. The bottom line to the new Panda Project is to move lower quality websites, articles and blogs below the higher quality sites.

Specific Google Panda Factors

Low quality content

Lack of SEO and keyword optimization

Lack of back links

Lack of overall quality

Duplicate content

Copy and Paste Content

A low amount of original content

Low social media links

The bottom line is that if your website, article or blog is made up of low quality content with duplicate content or copy and paste content as well as non-original content, lacks keyword and search engine optimization as well as quality back links, then your site will be pushed down lower than the other sites that do meet all of the criteria that the Google Panda Algorithium is looking for in a site.

How Does Google Panda Affect Freelance Writers

It is kind of simple and straight forward, to be safe from the Google Panda Algorithium. the freelance writer must create original quality content that is not duplicated or copy and pasted. The freelance writer must also make sure that the site is properly keyword optimized in the title, content and the keyword meta tags section. The freelance writer must also include a couple of quality back links to other quality sites and include back links to social media sites. By following these simple standard rules of writing, the freelance writer should not be affected much in the future. As freelance writers we are always looking for ways to write better quality content anyway to get ahead in the search engine rankings. Keep writing your websites, articles and blogs as directed and you will keep seeing your sites on the first page of the search engine results.

This is helpful to know. I've heard the words Google Panda, but wasn't really sure what it was all about. I'm not sure I agree with the algorithm, especially the social networking one, but I guess there has to be some way to find quality without reading each and every webpage.
