Promote Your Blog on Twitter and Facebook From the Same Button

I can't comprehend why people go out of their way to try and figure out hard to read codes just to get the same results if it was done a lot easier. Most all blogs already allow you to promote your blog on Twitter and Facebook from separate buttons below each blog post. Facebook has now come out with a featured gadget that allows you to promote your blog on your Twitter page and your Facebook page from the same button. Instead of using two different buttons to advertise your blog on Facebook and Twitter, you can now add your blog to your Twitter page and your Facebook profile both from the same button. The single button comes with a "Share This on Facebook" and a "Tweet This" link on the same button. This makes the process of promoting your blogs to Facebook and Twitter faster than you could have done it with two separate promotional buttons. Everybody knows by now that Facebook and Twitter are two of the biggest advertising sites to promote your blogs, websites, articles and other links to. At least for now, Blogger has made it faster and easier to promote your blogs to Facebook and Twitter. You can bet that it wont take long before other sites begin adding the single button/double promotion method to their advertising arsenal. Here are the steps below on how you can add the Twitter/Facebook promotional button to your blog.

First and foremost, if you haven't done so already, go ahead and open up a blog account. Most blogs have the single button/ double promotional widget but I always prefer blogger because everything is so easy to add and install. Once you have signed up for your blog and confirmed your account. Follow the steps below to learn how you can promote your blog to Twitter and Facebook from the same button.

• Go ahead and create your blog title and content plus keyword optimize your blog content.
• properly keyword tag your blog and create a few back-links to your blog.
• The above 2 steps will get your blog ready to promote.
• On your blogger home page, click on the "Design" link at the top of the blog page.
• You will then be directed to the "Gadget and Design" page. Click on the first "Add a Gadget" link in the sidebar. The Twitter/Facebook button will benefit more from the first link in the side bar.
• The "Add a Gadget" window will then appear, Click on the "Featured Link" located on the left hand side of the Gadget window.
• Scroll down the featured Gadget link page until you see the "Share it" Gadget. The Share it Gadget is the Single gadget button that will allow you to promote your blog to twitter and Facebook.
• Click the "X" on the right hand side of the "Share it" link. A new window will open. When the new window opens, you will see a title box that says " Share it" inside of the title box.
• Delete the "Share it" text from inside of the title box and type in " Share This Blog on Twitter and Facebook" and then click the save button. The window will then close.
• Once the small gadget window closes, Click the save button on the main gadget and design page and then click the "View Blog" button. You will now see a single button at the top of your side bar that will allow you and other people to promote your blog on Twitter and Facebook.

The main reason for installing the gadget button to the top of one of the sidebars is so that your site visitors can see the share button with no problems. Stats tend to show that share buttons that are located near the top of the page get clicked on more. The best part about this process is that your blog can be added to Twitter and Facebook by you or your blog visitors from the same button. This is possible because the single button has a Twitter link and a Facebook link attached to it. In other words, you can now submit your blog or blogs to two of the best advertising social networking sites in about 5 to 10 seconds or less.
