The biggest aspect of getting more traffic with the social networking sites is consistency with the submissions. I generally try to submit each article and each blog as soon as it is published. Then it takes a little bit of patience. Once your articles mature and get in from of more people, the more traffic they will get. Some articles or sites may take longer than others to see a significant increase in traffic. Depending on the popularity and quality of the content.

I like your list of sites - but I don't really get significant traffic from social networks - I think that linking to them is useful so far as my standings in Google search engine is concerned....but that's about it.
